Gearfire’s Travis McCamish Captures First at Koenig-Ruger Precision Rifle Series AG Cup Qualifier

Gearfire, the leader in end-to-end technology solutions within the firearms, outdoor sports, and sportfishing industries, is pleased to announce that its shooting team captain, Travis McCamish has captured first place in the Gas Gun Division at the 2022 Koenig-Ruger Precision Rifle Series Competition, held April 9-10 at theCameo Shooting and Education Complex in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The Koenig-Ruger match is part of the Precision Rifle Series, and the second AG Cup Qualifier match of the year. With this win,Travis now sits at 200 Pro Series points, propelling him to rank #1 in the nation within the Gas Gun Division. The challenging Course of Fire (COF), comprised of rough natural elements, was spread across nearly 3.5 miles, with targets placed between 300 and 1,200-yards down range. To prevail over his worthy opponents, Travis came equipped with a custom-built GAP 10 chambered in 6GT which offered proven performance and optimal accuracy, playing a key role in his victory.

The next Precision Rifle Series AG Cup Qualifier match will be The Federal King of Coral Canyon taking place at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico on May 13-15, 2022. A win at this event will open the door for Travis to receive a second consecutive perfect score of 300 points and qualify him for another National Championship title run.
